Fly Mid Africa, The Gambia’s new national carrier, which has commenced flight services from Banjul, The Gambia capital with connections to Dakar, Freetown, Accra and Lagos; Bristow Helicopter and Hak Air has pushed its ground services to Skyway Aviation Handling Company Limited, SAHCOL
SAHCOL, a ground handling company of owned by SIFAX Group announced in an official statement made available to LEADERSHIP yesterday, that the new addition will see SAHCOL providing total ground handling services: passenger, ramp and cargo handling to Fly Mid Africa’s four times in a week flight operations in and out of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos.
The statement said Bristow Helicopters’ contract is for the handling of its passengers and ramp operations in Abuja. Bristow Helicopters is a provider of industrial aviation services, offering helicopter transportation.
However, SAHCOL shall provide passenger and ramp handling services for Hak Air in Lagos, Abuja, Port Harcourt, Enugu and Uyo. Hak Air is a domestic and regional operator, formed to fill gaps in the short-haul domestic travel market in Nigeria.
General Manager, Corporate Communications of SAHCOL, Basil Agboarumi who signed the statement said SAHCOL has established a strong market presence in the domestic and international aviation industry, delivering passenger, ramp and cargo/warehousing services and will be committed to providing ground handling services to Fly Mid Africa, Bristow Helicopters and Hak Air’s operations in Nigeria
