Lagos state Govt Set To Launch Newly Completed Ikeja Bus Terminal

Following the completion of the state of the art Ikeja Bus Terminal which is the first of its kind in the country, the Lagos State Government (LASG) has concluded plans to officially launch the terminal.

The newly constructed bus terminal was developed by the Akinwunmi Ambode administration as part of the infrastructures for the Lagos Bus Reforms Project.

According to the government, the terminal will serve as the hub of all transport activities within the Ikeja Zone, serving over 50,000 passengers daily and providing access to many destinations including Oshodi, Ojota, Iyana-Ipaja,

Maryland, Agege, Ogba, CMS, Obalende, Iyana-Ipaja, etc. Also, the terminal is built to provide a safe, secure, comfortable and relaxing environment for commuters and other users of the hub.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Facilities at the terminal include waiting areas, ticketing booth, loading bays,  information center, food court, taxi rank, passenger convenience, operations control center and an ATM Gallery amongst many others.The construction and conceptualization of the terminal were done by Planet Projects Ltd., a public transport and infrastructure development company.
