The Alphabet-owned company has been trying to ramp up its\u00a0own ride-sharing service<\/a>\u00a0to compete with Uber and Lyft, offering a\u00a0driverless taxi service<\/a>\u00a0Waymo hopes to use in covering a region larger than London.
