Med-View to airlift pilgrims

The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Medviw Aairline, Alhaji Muneer Bankole, has said that Medview Airline is set to commence flight operations from Ilorin International Airport to Saudi Arabia.

The airline which would commence the airlift on Thursday 3rd August ’17  from the Ilorin International Airport to Prince Muhammed bin Abdulaziz International Airport, Medina, Saudi Arabia has made available three categories of aircraft for the lifting, the airplanes are Boeing 747 with capacity for 460 passengers; Boeing 777 for 376 passengers; and Boeing 767 for 200 passengers and have been available and ready for the 2017 hajj operations.

In addition, some packages have been put in place for this year’s pilgrims which include direct flight from the Ilorin International Airport to Prince Muhammed bin Abdulaziz International Airport, Medina for stress-free pilgrimage. Luggage would be delivered to their hotels so as reduce the stress pilgrims go through after arrival at the airport and later go back for their luggage.

“Med-View Airline, which operates in 16 destinations across the world, is delivering quality services and ensuring that passengers have a clean, safe, secure security environment and an aircraft that is air worthy.”

Mr. Bankole stated that the airport authorities and security operatives at the Ilorin International Airport had ensured efficient strategies to prevent any flight hitch.

He also pleaded with relevant authorities to ensure that operations commenced at the cargo terminal of the Ilorin International Airport to be used by all pilgrims from Kwara, Osun, Ekiti and Kogi states.
