Kenya Railways suspends SGR ticket booking from Jan 1 pending reschedule

Kenya – (BD) Kenya Railways Corporation has temporarily suspended booking of Madaraka Express tickets that are operational from January 1, 2018. Kenya Railways, through a public notice on Monday, said it would be rescheduling the passenger train service from January, occasioning the suspension.

“As MNSGR will adjust N1/2 and E1/2 passenger trains’ schedules from 1 January 2018, please be informed that there will be a short temporary sale suspension of tickets that date from 1 January 2018.

“We shall notify you in due course on when to recover the sales soon. Meanwhile, kindly accept sincere apologies for any inconveniences caused,” said KRC in a notice to passengers on Monday.
