Lagos (MLN) – The management of the Courier and Logistics Management Institute (CLMI) have entered into a partnership with Moov Africa to promote their industry.
At a ceremony held at the Lagos office of the institute, the two organizations pledged to work together to deepen the knowledge base of courier and logistics management.
Speaking at the occasion, the Chairman of Courier and Logistics Management Institute (CLMI), Dr. Simon Emeje PhD, said the business of courier and logistics has become critical in national development.
“This prominence and the need to train and promote professionalism and certification in courier and logistics services made it imperative to establish this Institute (CLMI)”, Dr. Emeje said.
“And based on the global imperative of education or knowledge as a source of development and a critical resource in the contemporary business world of communication, courier, logistics, transportation and general services, the institute found a worthy ally in Moov Africa, to collaborate in the promotion of the activities and programmes of the institute, all of which will be geared towards the rapid development of the knowledge base of the sector in Africa and beyond.
Responding the Executive Chairman of Moov Africa, publishers of Moov Logistics News, Mr. Larry Chinekezi, said: “ours is a logistics marketplace established to connect Africa’s fledging e-commerce and trading activities.

Meanwhile, the sell of registration forms for the CLMI certificate and diploma courses in various courier and logistics management disciplines are on. The relevant documents, including course registration forms, Flyers, Journal Brochures are now available for the public to obtain at the institute’s Lagos office and at Moov Africa.
